MOOCs are a recent development in the area of distance education, and a progression of the kind of open education ideals suggested by open educational resources.<\/em>\u00a0via Wikipedia[1]<\/a><\/sup><\/p><\/blockquote>\n designed as a crash course for students interested in conversational American English from\u00a0Mr. Danoff’s Teaching Laboratory<\/a>\u00a0taught by Owner\u00a0Charles Jeffrey Danoff<\/a>.<\/p>\n Given it is only 10 lectures long, this is not a comprehensive course, it is designed to give students a quick overview of conversational American English and the tools to study further on their own.
