2 TRUTHS, 1 LIE

We had a new student in class, to welcome him and get everyone acquainted we played a game of “2 Truths, 1 Lie” with the following questions:

  • What are you afraid of?
  • Who is your hero?
  • What is your favorite food?

SYLLABUS & CALENDAR

Spent some time going over the syllabus and new class calendar style.

TECH SETUP

Got everyone who brought their laptops set up with LibreOffice, Firefox, and Google/ Wordpress.com accounts and taught them how to use the blog to make posts.

NORTHSTAR 2 READING & WRITING (THIRD ED.)

Started Unit 5 completing page 93 together in class.

FICTION

Continued with the ‘One of the Lads’ next story from Antoinette Moses’ Frozen Pizza and Other Slices of Life getting through page 28.
