- Comprehension Questions:
- Q: What did the UN do in Korea after World War II? A: Divided it into 2 countries: North and South Korea.
- Q: What happened on June 25th, 1950? A: The Soviets began their invasion of South Korea.
- Q: What was the only Latin American country to join the war? A: Colombia
- Q: What was the Admirante Padilla? A: Colombia’s only frigate, or war/naval ship.
- Q: What is ASCOVE? A: The Colombian war veterans association, or Asociación Colombiana De Veteranos De La Guerra De Corea.

- Short Story: “Frozen Pizza” story review: Broke students into 2 teams and each had to write 1 comprehension question per page and then quiz the other team.
