Iran say they sent a monkey into space but the U.S. doesn’t trust him, Because a photo of monkey befor and after is look different photo. Hamid Fazeli leader of Iran’s space program, He want to sent a human into space in five year for machines satellites. But The U.S. worries about nuclear weapons.

NEWS & CURRENT EVENTS
Discussed “Iran Says it Sent Monkey into Space” News for You article. In addition to the exercise from the Teacher’s Guide, had the students engage in a mock team debate. One side was arguing that the monkey really did go out to space and come back, the other saying the monkey never came back.
Gave each team some time to meet with each other and prepare their arguments before going back and forth trying to make the best one!

Iran said it sent monkey(named “Pishgam”) into space and showed only different photos of the monkey before and after the flight. So the U.S. isn’t sure that the mission ever happened. But John Logsdon, a former professor of space policy in Washington, D.C., thought its possible.
